William W. Wylie, Jr.

Role and Responsibilities

Bill joined Mitchell Sinkler & Starr in 1980 and was President of the Firm from 2001 to 2021. He currently serves as a valuable resource to Mitchell Sinkler & Starr’s Portfolio Managers.

Prior to MS&S

Bill served as a Senior Investment Officer with Girard Bank, specializing in the trading and management of fixed income securities.

Education and Credentials

A graduate of the University of Delaware, Bill holds a bachelor’s degree in finance.

Community Commitments

Bill is Chairman of the Board of Supervisors of West Marlborough Township in Chester County, PA, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Upland Country Day School, and a Managing Member of the Cheshire Land Conservancy.

He is a former Director of Penn Medicine and former President of the Board of Directors of the Chester County Hospital and Health System, former President of the Board of Directors of the Cheshire Hunt Conservancy, and a former Chairman of the Pennsylvania Hunt Cup Committee, a steeplechase race meeting benefiting local charities.
